The concept of the housing proposal is to challenge the notion of what is a unit, what are the private programs in the unit, and the public portion in the sharing space.
Through the concept of an open floor plate as a sense of the public and outdoor living room, the housing design intends to maximize and utilize the public space to create congregation and interaction between neighbours and increase the flexibility and usage of the storages area. At the same time, it preserves the private room to the residences themselves.
